Monday Morning...

Warning Message:...Air quality watch issued for southern two thirds of Wisconsin
tonight and Monday...
The Wisconsin department of natural resources has issued an air
quality advisory for particle pollution that affects people living
in Brown County until 9 am Monday.
The air quality index has reached the Orange level which is
considered to be unhealthy for people in sensitive groups
including children...elderly people...individuals with respiratory
and cardiac problems...or anyone engaged in strenuous outdoor
activities for a prolonged period of time.
An air quality watch is also in effect for the southern two thirds
of Wisconsin until 11 PM Monday due to the possibility of elevated
levels of particle pollution in the region.
Weather conditions over Wisconsin will become favorable for
elevated concentrations of fine particles. Light winds will keep
dispersion of pollutants to a minimum through Thursday. There is
a possibility that particle pollution concentrations will reach
unhealthy levels for people in sensitive groups across the
southern two thirds of the state. Due to the possibility of
elevated levels of particle pollution in the region the Wisconsin
department of natural resources has issued an air quality watch
for tonight and Monday. This watch will be in affect until 11 PM
Monday night.
The air quality watch affects people living in the Wisconsin
counties of Marathon...Shawano...wood...Portage...Waupaca...
Outagamie...Kewaunee...Waushara...Winnebago...Calumet...and
Manitowoc. 
To help prevent pollution from reaching unhealthy levels...
people in the watch area are encouraged to help decrease air
pollution by reducing driving when possible...avoid burning...
minimize vehicle engine idling...postpone using small gas or
diesel powered outdoor equipment... and practice energy
conservation.
